The last CHPC Computer training for DARA's 2017/18 programme was hosted by HartRAO from 26 January to 02 February 2018. This was for the cohort of students from Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. The course syllabus presented is the same as delivered in Maputo, Nairobi and Madagascar respectively. The course was delivered by scientists from CHPC in South Africa: Dr Krishna Govender; Sakhile Masoka, Zama Mtshali; and Dr Daniel Moeketsi. The event was attended by dedicated 19 DARA post graduates students in fields of Physics, Engineering, Medical Science, Computer Science, Geology/Geophysics and Geodesy. Students were keen to learn and not nervous to ask questions. The school was a great success.
